Salah is a Chartered Certified Accountant and is a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK and a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Kerala, India.

Salah has over 11 years’ experience in the field. Prior to the founding of QVL Advisory, Salah has worked extensively in the tax and accounting field in the Maldives. He has worked as the Director of Operations of Mile and Associates, a firm specializing in tax, accounting and auditing services in the Maldives.

Before that Salah has worked for over five years’ in the audit department of Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) where he held various positions including being the Head of Individual Business Audit Section and Micro Individual Audit Section. He has also worked previously in the Ministry of Finance and Treasury, where he managed the foreign debt portfolio of the Government of Maldives.
