Naifa is a highly experienced Attorney with a strong focus on tax law and litigation. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Shari’ah and Law from Maldives National University, where she developed a robust foundation in both Shari’ah and legal principles.

With over nine years of distinguished service at the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority, Naifa has made significant contributions in various capacities. She has adeptly represented MIRA in courts and tribunals, managing complex legal matters related to tax.

Her role involved managing tax cases, including debt recovery, as well as providing pivotal legal support in employment-related cases. Her efforts in drafting legal documents, advising on legislative amendments, and conducting staff training have significantly contributed to the authority’s success.

Prior to joining QVL, Naifa worked as an Associate at S&A Lawyers LLP for three months. During this time, she gained valuable experience in dispute resolution and litigation, further honing her skills in legal practice.
